Using BHE in an enterprise environment

A typical usage of BHE within an enterprise environment is where the IT department may need to analyse the internet history of multiple employee computers in response to an incident.

Setup overview

  1. Install BHE onto one of the IT department computers (the 'analysis' computer). A BHE license is required per analysis computer.
  2. Use the capture process to pull the internet history from each employee computer onto the analysis computer.
  3. Load each captured dataset into BHE for analysis.
  4. A report highlighting specific history records can be created. Alternatively the history can be exported to a range of formats to be viewed by another department.

Remote data capture

If the employee and analysis computers are on the same Windows network then BHE can automatically capture the data remotely. No installation is required on the remote computer and the user is not notified when a capture is taken.
